The conference celebrates the fifty-year career of Hans Ulrich "Sepp" Gumbrecht. More than forty speakers from Europe, Latin America, and the United States will address the state of literary studies after 1967, its methods and moods. There will be a reception for all attendees on Friday, February 9 at 5:00 p.m. at the Stanford Faculty Club.
