Kirmen Uribe (Ondarroa, Basque Country, 1970), Premio Nacional de Narrativa 2009 for his novel Bilbao-New York-Bilbao and Premio Nacional de la Crítica for his poetry collection Bitartean heldu eskutik (Meanwhile take my hand, Graywolf, 2007) will discuss the writing of his novel and methodological aspects such a self-fiction, the novel's network structure,  and the construction of a hybrid genre between reality and fiction, as well as what it means to write for the world from a Basque context.
