"Kafe Negro: Une histoire de migrations" is a short film (with English subtitles) discussing the impact of the Haitian Revolution on Cuba and successive waves of Haitian migration to the country.

Jacques Pierre (Lecturer in Haitian Creole, Stanford) has been advocating for the language for years and plans to do it for the rest of his life because he is a firm believer that Creole matters. He is currently the co-director for the Haiti Lab at Duke University.
