Comics More Than Words: Pablo Guerra
Join the next Comics: More Than Words Research Unit group talk titled, "One Hundred Years of Colombian Comics" with Pablo Guerra.
In this presentation, Pablo Guerra will make a journey through some landmarks of Colombian comics during their first century of existence, he will also discuss the challenges that someone can face during their research on this peculiar topic. Relaying on his experience as a comic book creator, Pablo Guerra will give a first-person account of this history.
Pablo Guerra is a comic book editor, critic, and creator from Colombia. He studied Literature at Universidad de los Andes and has a Master's in Screenwriting from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. He has written comics such as Dos Aldos (Two Toms), Caminos condenados, or Los perdidos and is the editor in chief of Cohete Cómics, a Colombian publishing house focused on comics. He has written extensively on the history of Colombian comics.
