Paul A. Kottman is Professor of Comparative Literature at the New School for Social Research, and Eugene Lang College, the New School for Liberal Arts. He is Chair of the Committee on Liberal Studies, and is affiliated with the Philosophy Department. He is most recently the author of Love as Human Freedom (Stanford UP, 2017), and edits the book series Square One: First Order Questions in the Humanities for Stanford UP.
