Denis Lacorne (Ph.D. Political Science, Yale) is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre d’études et de recherches internationales and Professor at Sciences Po, specializing in the political history of the United States. His interests include construction of national identitiesreligion and secularism, foreign policy of the United Statesurban violence and ethnic identity in the United States. Among his many publications are De la réligion en Amerique. Essai d'histoire politique, Paris: Gallimard, 2007, La Crise de l’identité américaine.
