"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the War Room."

Dr. Strangelove, Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) is Stanley Kubrick's brilliant, satirical, provocative black comedy/fantasy regarding doomsday and Cold War politics that features an accidental, inadvertent, pre-emptive nuclear attack. The undated, landmark film—a commercially successful political satire about nuclear war—includes career-defining turns from Hollywood legends Peter Sellers, George C. Scott and Sterling Hayden.
