Rushmore, one of Wes Anderson’s earliest hits, follows the extracurricular adventures of young Max Fischer (Jason Schwartzman) in pursuit of a full-fledged education that includes falconry, dramaturgy, and fencing as well as his elementary school teacher crush.  With a quirky view into the trials and travails of both private and public schools, Anderson shows how class, classes, and an overactive imagination often get in the way of teenage romance and a proper education.
