Francis Ponge and the Voice of Things

Translator/poet Beverley Bie Brahic will talk about her translations from the 20th century French poet Francis Ponge. A graduate student panel consisting of Victoria Bergstrom (French @Berkeley), Anand Dibble (Slavic) and Lorenzo Bartulucci (Comp Lit) will talk about Ponge's poetics and object-poetry at large. Followed by an open discussion. Dinner will be served.
