Generaciones: A Collaborative Research Group on Diasporic Mexicanidades is delighted to invite you to a lecture by Dr. Gabriela Spears-Rico, Assistant Professor of Chicano Latino Studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Dr. Spears-Rico will share her work-in-progress entitled, The Melancholic Myths of Mestizaje: Indigenous Critiques in Michoacán. The lecture  will take place on Friday, March 1st at 4:30pm in the Community Room of the Centro Chicano y Latino (514 Lasuen Mall).
