Join us at the Stanford Humanities Center for this interdisciplinary conference on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13.

 

The conference is free and open to the public.

 

Welcoming remarks will be given by Lanier Anderson, the Co-Director of the Stanford Philosophy and Literature Program.

 

The keynote address will be delivered by Enzo Traverso from Cornell University.  The keynote is titled “Between Critical Reason and Despair: Jean Améry”.
