Come and join us for a reading by internationally-acclaimed Brazilian author, João Paulo Cuenca.

He will read from the recently released translation of his book, The only happy ending for a love story is an accident. The reading will be followed by a presentation and a Q&A. Dinner and wine will be served. Reading and discussion in English.

Named by Granta as one of the most important young Brazilian writers, and as one of the Bogota39 (the 39 most promising writers under 39), Cuenca is a prolific and influential writer and public intellectual, whose work has appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, and his novels have been widely published and translated.
