Join us for our next event on Thursday, April 18 when we will discuss the work in progress of Nathan Perl-Rosenthal (USC, history). The piece, entitled Ending Cosmopolitanism?: American Sailors in a French Revolutionary World, ca. 1792-1799, is a chapter of his book manuscript in progress, Worldly Americans: Sailors in the Age of Revolutions, ca. 1760-1815.
To get a copy of the pre-circulated chapter, as well as to RSVP regarding your attendance, contact Biliana Kasasbova (email@example.com)
As usual, we will meet in Pigott Hall, Room 216, starting with light snacks and refreshments at 4pm and proceeding with the discussion of the chapter.
