Please join us for our ongoing workshop on No Country for Old Men.

On Wednesday March 12, from 5-7, we will discuss the shooting script of the movie (available here), and see how the Coen Brothers adapted it from Cormac McCarthy's 2005 novel. We will show clips from the movie, and highlight passages from the novel and, mostly, the screenplay. Please take at least a little look at the screenplay beforehand if you can so we can have lots of input. Dinner and wine will be served!

Then, as part of the DLCL film series on the Western theme/genre, we will move rooms (to 113) to watch the film No Country.... from 7-9pm. Please join for any or all of this evening of Cormac McCarthy, the Coen Brothers, and all that jazz. Any questions, please just drop us an email.

This is part of the DLCL-sponsored Screenwriting Research Unit, organized by Professor Jorge Ruffinelli, and grad students Samuel Gibson and Tom Winterbottom
