Renaissance Worldmaking Workshop

This event, “Forms, Fragments, Wholes: Marlowe, Shakespeare, and Classical Afterlives,” will feature a conversation between Prof. Leah Whittington (Harvard, English and Classics) and Nicholas Fenech (Stanford, Comparative Literature) on the subject of their shared work-in-progress. The dialogue has been made possible by generous co-sponsorship from the DLCL Renaissances focal group.

Interested participants are welcome to contact me for the chapter excerpts, “Completion and Superfluity: Chapman’s Continuation of Marlowe’s Hero and Leander” and “Illusion and Interpretation: Shakespeare’s Alcestis and the Philology of Recognition.”
