Please join Audrey Calefas-Strébelle and Jennifer Tamas-Le Menthéour for a seminar in memory of beloved professor Michel Serres. We will read a selection of Michel Serres’s texts, share our memories, and discuss the intellectual influence he had on our research, careers and lives. Michel Serres’s daughter Hélène Weis and his publisher and co-founder of the Michel Serres Foundation, Sophie Bancquart, will be joining us.

The seminar will be held in French with some English translation and it will precede the formal tribute to Michel Serres. You are welcome to come for any portion of it as your availability permits. If you would like to discuss a specific text please submit it by October 15th to acalefasstrebelle [at] mills.edu (acalefasstrebelle[at]mills[dot]edu)  and jt723 [at] french.rutgers.edu (jt723[at]french[dot]rutgers[dot]edu) with your RSVP.
