October 13-15, 2016 - Stanford University
 
The X International Conference of the American Portuguese Studies Association (APSA) will take place at Stanford University, October 13-15, 2016. Panels focused on the diversity of Luso-African, Brazilian and Portuguese Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics.
 
The keynote speakers are Professor Abel Barros Baptista (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), and awarded fictionist and art curator, Veronica Stigger (Brazil). A Tribute to Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht and his work on Luso-Brazilian Literatures will take place on Friday, Oct. 14, 1h40-3h10pm.

Thursday and Friday: The conference will take place in the Munger Conference Center, located in Paul Brest Hall at at 555 Salvatierra Walk, Stanford, CA, 94305
The nearest parking lot to Paul Brest Hall is Parking Structure 6.
It is an underground parking lot.  After 4pm, the parking lots are free.
Saturday:  The conference will take place in Pigott Hall, Bld. 260, near the White Plaza.
