Occasion, an Arcade journal, publishes special issue on the welfare state

The second volume of Occasion, an open access humanities journal on the Arcade platform, recently published a special issue, States of Welfare. 

Occasion II presents essays on the welfare state, examining through an interdisciplinary set of essays the formation and practice of welfare, both historically and in the present day, in the U.S. and elsewhere, and its effect on culture and society.
