Recap: Comparative Literature Spring Fête 2013

Last Thursday, May 23rd 2013, the DLCL's Comparative Literature department celebrated their annual year-end event, the Spring Fête. This year, we convened at Vino Locale, a small wine bar in downtown Palo Alto. The Division would like to thank Professor David Palumbo-Liu for organizing the event once more. Faculty, staff, and graduate students were all able to wind down, and enjoy some good food, wine, and live music. This year marks the end of Professor Palumbo-Liu's tenure as director of the Comparative Literature department. Palumbo-Liu notes, "I'm particularly proud of expanding Comparative Literature to include faculty in Chinese, Japanese, Persian, Hebrew, Turkish and Arabic, thereby extending our global reach and historical depth. I am delighted to pass the reins to Professor Monika Greenleaf (Slavic and Comparative Literature). I also thank Christine Onorato, our amazing administator." Thank you to all in the DLCL who contributed to this significant and successful event.

Included below are a few photos from the event. We hope that many of you can join us next year!
