Ibn Warraq will be speaking about his new book in which he
argues that
followers of Said's thesis have used it to suppress
critical scholarship
on the Islamic world and its history. In
addition to challenging
Said's methodology, arguments, and use of
history, Warraq will discuss
the dangerous legacy of this highly
influential work.
