Andrea grew up in the Bay Area not far from Stanford, and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she graduated with a BS in Advertising. Since then, she has worked in event planning, marketing, and graphic design. She lived in Oaxaca, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain in 2001 and has traveled to 18 countries so far. Throughout her career, Andrea has had the opportunity to work for various institutions, ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies, including several large non-profit organizations. Andrea started working at Stanford in March 2018 and joined the Division of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages in January 2020.
