Bio
 
Born in South Korea, Boungsam spent most of his childhood in Vladivostok, Russia. He then moved to Korea and received his M.A. in Russian Language and Literature from Yonsei University in 2014. In his master’s thesis Philosophical Prose of Andrei Platonov : A study on the image of the "New Man" (2014), Boungsam elucidated the relationship between Man and Nature. Now his major interests are 20th century Russian novels and literary theory, particularly the literariness of contingency and necessity in works of Soviet "Youth Prose" writers. Also he is interested in Nikolai Fedorov's doctrine of the "common toil.”
