Jad Kiadan

Jad Kiadan holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Linguistics from the School of Cultural Studies at Tel Aviv University, where his research focused on metaphor and the varieties of the Arabic language, examining how shifts in linguistic medium influence the processing and production of metaphors. In the final years of his Ph.D., his work expanded to Islamic studies, integrating cultural, theological, and literary perspectives. His current research bridges these fields, using Cognitive Metaphor Theory to explore the concept of ʿAqīdah and the role of string metaphors as a distinctive element of Arab-Islamic thought.
