Katherine Kong

Katherine Kong is an Independent Scholar and former Associate Professor of French at the University of Tennessee. She has also taught in French and in Comparative Literature at the University of Michigan. She is the author of Lettering the Self in Medieval and Early Modern France; Portraits of the Queen Mother: Polemics, Panegyrics, Letters (with Leah Chang), awarded the Josephine Roberts Award from the Society for the Study of Early Modern Women; and Gender and Voice in Medieval French Literature and Song (co-edited with Rachel Golden). She has also published on epic, romance, letters, and gender in medieval and early modern French literature.
