B.A. with Honors in German Studies at Portland State University
In 2025 Nino Martin graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in German Studies from Portland State University, where they wrote their Honors Thesis on the depiction of ethnic and religious identity in the 1493 Early New High German translation of the Schedel'sche Weltchronik (Nuremberg Chronicle). As a Ph.D. student at Stanford, they now study medieval German Literature with a focus on depictions of wildness; both in natural spaces and the people in contact with them.
