Sarah Sussman

I am the French and Italian collections librarian, responsible for selecting new and old materials in all formats in these languages and about France, Italy, and areas using these languages. I work with students and faculty to help them identify, find, and access the materials that they need for their research.

I use my background to promote Romance language library collections and librarianship at Stanford and am also active in national and international organizations:

  • French Historical Studies, bibliographer for recently published monographs and dissertations, member of editorial board.
  • CIFNAL, the Collaborative Initiative for French Language Collections
  • Bulletin des bibliothèques françaises, foreign correspondent
