Cultural Synchronization and Disjuncture, a DLCL Research Unit Working Group on cultural theory and Latin Americanism at Stanford, looks forward to seeing you for our Spring events – culminating in an international colloquium in May. A complete calendar of events follows – please save the dates! Unless otherwise noted, meetings will take place in the second-floor lounge of Pigott Hall (260-216). If you cannot make it to every session, please feel free to attend as many as you can.

Details and readings for specific events will be forthcoming prior to each event. To sign up for the mailing list, and for logistical questions, please contact mtw1 [at] stanford.edu (Tom Winterbottom). Faculty coordinator hoyos [at] stanford.edu (Héctor Hoyos) welcomes correspondence.

Texts will be distributed in advance of the event. The focus will be on texts written or recommended by colloquium participants.
