Jillian Costello is a graduate student in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Stanford University. Her interests include Russian modernism and science fiction, literature and science, literature and philosophy, ethics, and subjectivity. She is currently working on a dissertation examining representations of scientifically altered bodies in early Soviet fiction as a site of negotiation with the contemporary discourse of human transformation.
Jillian's M.A. studies focused on 20th century French and Russian.
